Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time, on-site opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist specializing in pediatrics to support long-term needs within a school setting. This role is located in Montgomery, Alabama, with openness to candidates willing to travel.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Current occupational therapy license
- Experience working with pediatric populations
- Background in school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Ability to commit to a full-time schedule on-site
- Open to candidates interested in travel assignments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to children in a school environment, aligning with individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student development
- Assess student needs and create tailored intervention plans
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development
