Cashier
Job Overview
Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Take takeout orders accurately.
- Operate the POS (cash register) and process cash, credit card, and other payments.
- Answer phone calls and assist with takeout orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
- Ensure menus, condiments, and front counter area are clean and stocked.
- Assist servers and managers when needed.
- Handle customer questions and resolve minor concerns professionally.
- Follow company policies, food safety, and sanitation standards.
- Work as a team to provide excellent guest service.
Skills
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Basic math and cash handling skills.
- Previous cashier or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
