As a **Security Officer - Financial Patrol** in **Birmingham, AL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for clients and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential concerns.
+ Observe and report any suspicious activities or persons within the financial institution environment.
+ Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding incidents or unusual situations.
+ Support access control procedures, including verifying credentials and monitoring entry points.
+ Assist in implementing site-specific protocols for security-related concerns.
+ Participate in training and drills to stay prepared for emergency response situations.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
+ A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
+ Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
