Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a part-time contract position in Pinson, AL, supporting a learning center caseload of 49 students. The role focuses on providing speech and language services to a diverse group of students, many of whom are in 5th grade or lower, with some high school students included. This position operates four days a week, from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM, through May 23rd, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students with various speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in meetings and communicate effectively with parents and staff.
Qualifications:
- Valid Alabama Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a high caseload with diverse student needs.
