Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Superintendent to join our team at our facility located in Mobile, AL, 36608. In this role, you will oversee mechanical operations, ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently and safely. You will be a key player in leading a talented team, fostering a collaborative environment, and driving continuous improvement in our mechanical processes. Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate mechanical projects from inception to completion.
- Install HVAC equipment, ducts, piping, controls, exhaust systems, and other related mechanical work.
- Lead and mentor a team of mechanical technicians and engineers.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of mechanical systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize operations and resolve issues.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Prepare and present reports on project status and performance metrics.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical technology.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical supervision or management.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in mechanical operations.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
