Freight: No-Touch Automotive Freight
Home Time: 7–10 Days Out | 34–48 Hour Reset

Freight operations in this fleet move through established automotive supply routes designed to maintain consistent weekly mileage for experienced CDL-A drivers. The network operates primarily through regional lanes east of I-35, allowing drivers to remain within dependable freight corridors while maintaining steady dispatch flow throughout the week.

Drivers assigned to this operation typically move freight between automotive suppliers, distribution centers, and manufacturing facilities that rely on organized delivery schedules. Because the freight network supports regular load sequencing, drivers can maintain consistent miles while avoiding extended delays at shipping facilities.

Most loads in this operation are handled as no-touch shipments with a strong percentage of drop-and-hook freight. This allows drivers to remain focused on driving rather than loading responsibilities while maintaining steady weekly movement between customers.

Typical weekly mileage ranges between 2,500 and 3,000 miles depending on dispatch flow and freight demand. Average haul length is approximately 500 miles, allowing drivers to maintain consistent momentum through regional lanes without extremely long trips.

Equipment

Drivers are assigned well-maintained late-model tractors designed for reliability and driver comfort during extended runs. The fleet primarily operates Peterbilt 579 tractors along with other comparable equipment maintained through scheduled service programs.

Trucks are equipped with inverters and refrigerators to support driver comfort while on the road. Depending on operational planning and driver location, assigned tractors may be taken home during scheduled time off.

Driver Qualifications

Applicants must hold a valid Class A CDL and maintain a current DOT medical certification. Drivers should have at least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience within the last 12 months or 1 year of experience within the past 3 years operating equipment with a 40-foot or longer trailer.
