JOB TITLE: Residential Real Estate Closer FLSA: Non-Exempt; Hourly STATUS : Full-time; On-site

This position shall perform various substantive legal duties under the supervision of the attorneys in the real estate practice group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Open files upon receipt of a title order or contract
• Order and review title examinations, mortgage payoffs, water bills, insurance, HOA/COA letters, lien payoffs
• Review title work, identify and clear title issues
• Communicate accurately and Prepare Closing Disclosures (CDs) for lender funded closings
• Prepare closing documents for execution at the closing table (Note, Deeds, etc.)
• Prepare title policies and calculate premiums
• Balance, fund and disburse files

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ recent experience processing real estate closing files
• Able to work in a paperless, automated and fast-paced environment
• Able to multitask to complete various tasks required
• Team player that can work effectively with investors, realtors, loan officers, and underwriters
• Experience working in Qualia, preferred but not required
• Proven ability to use Microsoft Office

• Ability to manage a high-volume pipeline
• Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal)
• Organized and detail-oriented individual
• Self- motivated, resourceful individual
