Integration & Test Engineer (Radar Systems)

Huntsville, AL (Onsite)

No relocation assistance or per diem provided

Pay Rate: $70/hr – $79/hr

Schedule: 9/80 (every other Friday off)

Duration: 12 months with strong extension potential

Clearance: Active Secret required at start

Citizenship: U.S. Citizen required

Program Overview

This role supports a next-generation radar platform within a major U.S. defense program focused on integrated air and missile defense.

You will work on the LTAMDS (Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor) program, supporting integration and verification of radar systems in a lab environment tied to Contract SPRBL1-15-D-0017 .

This is a hands-on engineering role working directly with system hardware, software, and real-world radar data.

Overview

We are hiring an Integration & Test Engineer to support system-level testing, validation, and performance analysis of advanced radar systems.

This role sits at the intersection of:

• Systems Engineering
• Software Integration
• Hardware Validation
• Data Analysis

You will work in a lab environment integrating and testing complex systems that directly impact mission-critical defense capabilities.

What You Will Do

• Develop and execute integration and verification test plans
• Perform system-level testing in both simulated and real-world environments
• Analyze radar performance data using MATLAB and other tools
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system-level issues
• Integrate software and hardware into tactical radar systems
• Support modeling and simulation efforts to predict system performance
• Validate system requirements and document test results
• Present findings and technical solutions to leadership and stakeholders

What We Are Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in systems integration, test, or verification
• Strong experience with MATLAB and data analysis
• Background in radar systems, signal processing, or sensor systems
• Experience working with:
• Systems software and hardware
• Integration and test environments
• Requirements verification
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex systems

Preferred:

• Experience in radar or defense systems
• Lab-based integration and testing experience
• Modeling and simulation background

Compensation & Benefits

• $70.16/hr – $79.06/hr

Sick Leave (Alabama Alignment):

Accrues at 1 hour per 30 hours worked
