Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Working onsite, you’ll provide speech and language services in collaboration with dedicated staff, tailoring your approach to meet the evolving needs of a diverse student body. With full-time schedules of 35 hours per week available, this role opens the door to meaningful professional experiences.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active Speech-Language Pathology license for the state of Alabama
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is required
• Previous experience in a school-based SLP role is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication skills with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Adaptable and resourceful in managing dynamic caseloads

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop individualized treatment and intervention plans for students, aligning with educational goals
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure continuity of care
• Conduct on-site therapy sessions; adjust strategies to maximize student progress
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical insight to student planning
