**Job Title: CNC Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team, responsible for programming, setting up, and machining plastic, aluminum, iron, and steel foundry tooling using 3 axis vertical machining centers. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
**Responsibilities**
+ Program and operate 3 axis vertical CNC machines.
+ Receive and enter tool paths from the server into CNC machines.
+ Set up and prepare materials for machining, including drilling, tapping holes, and milling.
+ Interpret and implement construction drawings.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least 4 years of experience as a CNC Operator in a machine shop or foundry environment.
+ Proficient in programming 3 axis vertical CNC machines.
+ Ability to manage and operate multiple machines simultaneously.
+ Skilled in reading and working from manufacturing drawings and sketches.
+ Experience with manual machine shop equipment, such as lathes, drill presses, and milling machines.
+ Proficient in using micrometers and calipers.
+ Ability to hold close tolerances and use grinders to sharpen tools.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work well with co-workers.
+ Experience with band saws and handheld measuring instruments.
+ Possession of personal tools required for the job.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Trussville, AL.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
