Project Accountant

Located in Clearwater, FL, with offices in Birmingham and Fairhope, Alabama, Park & Eleazer Construction is an exciting and rapidly growing company specializing in Commercial Construction with a High End Residential/Multifamily Division.

What is required for this position:

• Accounting experience with a preference to construction
• Ability to work in teams

• Strong computer skills
• Ability to communicate professionally with subcontractors, owners and coworkers

What you will be doing:

• Assist the Project Manager in creation and delivery of monthly owner billings
• You will review and prepare documents required for timely payment of billing and invoices, supporting project financial reviews and communicating cost over-runs to the appropriate functions.
• Coordination of all project’s costs from invoice to payment
• Manage all subcontractor requirements including Insurance and Releases
• Assist Project Manager with contracts, change orders, NTO log and close outs
• You will be required to clearly and professionally communicate with various team members including the Project Management Team, the Accounting Team, Subcontractors, Owners, Architects and other Business Partners.

What is preferred for this position:

• Associates degree or equivalent experience
• QuickBooks or other accounting software experience
• Procore or other project management software experience
• Experience with AIA documents, Lien Waivers, etc
