Pay: $24.00/HR
Reports to: Recruiting Coordinator
** Paid Weekly **
To provide administrative support to the Recruitment Department to facilitate the flow and processing of candidates, assisting in fulfilling recruitment requisitions while adhering to company policies, AAP, and OFCCP guidelines.
Duties may include some or all of the following:
Checking closed requisition files for completeness and accuracy to ensure documentation adheres to company policies, AAP, and OFCCP guidelines, and following up with assigned recruiters to obtain missing or incomplete information.
Scanning and attaching interview questions and evaluations into candidate profiles in the applicant tracking system.
Maintaining a spreadsheet of completed closed requisition files for tracking purposes.
Assisting with training interview tracking and new hire tracking.
Scheduling candidates for interviews, pre-employment testing, and other follow-up via telephone and email correspondence.
Tracking and updating job openings on career and alumni job boards.
Searching daily for duplicate applications in the applicant tracking system and merging as needed.
Handling daily delivery and retrieval of internal office mail.
Managing incoming calls and retrieving messages from the recruitment phone line.
Assisting the recruitment department with weekly internal job postings.
Serving as backup to recruiters and assisting as needed.
Adding external recruiting agencies, maintaining requisitions, and preparing job postings.
Attending job fairs, assisting with new hire or contractor orientations, and supporting other recruiting functions.
Conducting initial screening of candidate profiles in the applicant tracking system, identifying those meeting minimum job description requirements, and updating candidate statuses for recruiter review.
Assisting the Recruitment Coordinator and recruiters with scheduling interviews, testing, pre-employment screenings, and other tasks as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent and three years’ experience in a support role in a professional office environment OR Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
Excellent phone etiquette
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Intermediate skill level in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
Ability to multi-task
Must maintain a high level of confidentiality
