Lab Technician Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $14.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• Third Shift ( Sunday through Saturday from 07:00pm to 07:00am )

**Key Responsibilities:***

Execute "Beginning of Shift" activities in accordance with QC procedure CRB 001.* Perform scheduled measurements of physical properties for tape, spun yarn, fiber, sliver, and woven fabric using established procedures, reporting results to appropriate operational personnel and the Shift Supervisor.

* Measure the width of secondary backing fabrics and the pick line straightness of guideline fabrics as scheduled, recording results on weaving machine forms and reporting to the Shift Supervisor.

* Identify and address non-conformances immediately, initiating corrective actions per established procedures. Verify the effectiveness of these actions and follow up until specifications are met.

* Ensure accurate and thorough completion of all required documentation.

* Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

* Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Lab Technician Qualifications:

**Education & Skills:**

* Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics.

* Ability to effectively utilize computerized databases and spreadsheets.

* Proficient in the use of various test equipment.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Spanish/English bilingualism is a helpful asset.

**Experience:**

* Previous Quality Control experience within the textile industry or a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.

* Prior Lab Technician experience is preferred.
