Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state licensure for Alabama (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Experience working in K-12 school settings strongly preferred
• Skilled in communication, collaboration, and individualized education program (IEP) processes
• Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive support

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students according to IEPs
• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Track student progress and maintain documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success plans
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
