This 198-bed general acute care facility is seeking a psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage across inpatient and clinic settings. The facility operates a 24-hour Emergency Department and an inpatient acute rehabilitation unit to support a broad range of patient care needs. The facility maintains established protocols and resources to support effective psychiatric care delivery within a structured clinical environment.

Muscle Shoals, Alabama offers a range of cultural and historical attractions suited to varied interests. The psychiatrist will provide full-time inpatient and clinic psychiatric care for adult patients during day shifts, with call responsibilities maintained at a 1:1 call ratio. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations and managing medications across both inpatient and clinic settings at a facility that also operates a 24-hour Emergency Department and an inpatient acute rehabilitation unit. The clinician will maintain on-call availability in accordance with the assigned call schedule. Board certification is negotiable for this locum tenens assignment.
