Now Hiring: Slitter Operator – Join Our Growing Team!
Decatur, AL | 3rd shift | Pay: $28.00-32.00 an hour
Are you hands-on, detail-oriented, and ready to be part of a team that keeps production moving? We’re looking for Slitter Operators to join our Operations team. Whether you’re new to the industry or bring years of experience, we have a spot for you – the more experience, the better!
What You’ll Do
- Operate slitting equipment to load, track, and unload coils safely and accurately
- Perform visual inspections to ensure quality
- Make equipment adjustments to maintain proper material tracking and stacking
- Keep a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Be a key part of our T.E.A.M. culture
Schedule
- Training: Start on 1st shift until our 3rd shift launches
- 1st Shift: Mon–Thurs 6am–4:30pm, Fri 6am–2:30pm (occasional voluntary Saturdays)
- Future 3rd Shift: Sun–Wed 8pm–6:30am, Thurs 8pm–4:30am (occasional voluntary Saturdays – Friday night into Saturday morning)

- After 90 days: 40 hours holiday time + 30 hours personal time + holiday pay (10 paid holidays/year)

What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Ability to read tape measures, perform basic math, and follow written instructions
- Strong attendance and dependability
- Willingness to work in a plant environment (hot/cold, medium to high noise)
- Previous slitter, metal, paper, or plastic industry experience a plus – but we’re open to training candidates with strong mechanical aptitude!
