Buff City Soap Makery Associate

Gain practical business experience in a variety of areas since we not only sell wonderful plant-based products, but we also make everything in each shop. In addition to general retail experience, you would have the opportunity to learn about marketing, manufacturing, supply chain management, customer service, and leadership.

Tasks and Responsibilities :

· Provide excellent customer service ensuring all your customers’ needs are met

· Engage with all customers to build relationships and understand their needs

· Make product recommendations

· Multitask related to product production and engaging with customers in our shops

· Assist in maintaining a clean Makery and retail areas

· Work cohesively with our team in an upbeat, fast-paced and fun environment

Physical Requirements:

· Basic computer skills and knowledge

· Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

· Must not be sensitive to various scents and fragrances

· Dexterity of hands and fingers

· Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes up to 50 pounds

· Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, twist, stoop, kneel and crouch

· Ability to perform makery cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.

Schedule:

· 4-5 hour shifts and 8-10 hour shifts available along with some shorter shifts

· Weekday and weekend shifts available

· Some holiday schedule opportunities too

Education:

· High school degree or equivalent (preferred)
