Scaffold Assembler
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Scaffold Assembler to join our team in Birmingham, AL. As a Scaffold Assembler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of construction projects by assembling and disassembling scaffolding systems. If you have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Assemble and disassemble scaffolding systems according to project specifications and safety standards.
- Inspect scaffolding components for damage or wear and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist in the transportation of scaffolding materials to and from job sites.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of scaffolding practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in scaffolding assembly or construction is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices in the construction industry.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
