A K-12 Special Education Teacher position is available in Trussville, AL, for the uping school year under a contract arrangement. This role focuses on providing tailored educational support and services to students with diverse learning needs across grades Kindergarten through 12.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that address students unique learning goals and challenges.
• Adapt general education curriculum to acmodate students with disabilities, ensuring accessibility and prehension.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to foster inclusive classroom environments.
• Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records for pliance and reporting purposes.
• Utilize various instructional strategies and assistive technologies to enhance student engagement.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay current on special education laws and teaching methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting.
