REQUIREMENTS:
- Be willing to help in any situation by providing an upbeat and solutions-oriented attitude for our customers and co-workers
- Minimum of 1-4 years of experience and demonstrated proficiency in an Insurance Account Management role in required lines
- Superior customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills required
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems
- Ability to work a regular, full-time work schedule
- Willing to continuously learn both professionally, and from our customers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Experience in commercial account management with commercial construction clients is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations
EDUCATION, LICENSING, OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- College Degree preferred
- Currently licensed in good standing in required lines and states with all necessary CE credits
- Experience in EPIC agency management systems a plus
- Advanced professional designation desirable (e.g. AAI, ARM, CIC)
Client Relationship/Account Manager - Commercial Lines
This position manages a book of business in Commercial Lines with a high degree of independent discretion, autonomy, and decision-making. As a Client Relationship/Account Manager, it is important to provide professional and courteous service to our clients, carrier representatives, Underwriters, business partners, and colleagues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Get to know our clients by finding out what's important to them. Serve as main point of contact for book of business.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Responsible for overall retention of accounts and assigned book of business on all aspects of client service, marketing, and renewals.
- Develop new business from existing accounts.
- Oversee the preparation and implementation of all transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assigned accounts.
- Manage, organize, and conduct client meetings when necessary and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Acquire understanding of clients' insurance objectives and critically analyze and compare insurance plans to determine the suitability and may negotiate with Underwriters and carriers.
- Make appropriate recommendations to clients in response to industry shifts and changes independent of Manager approval.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and delivery of services.
- Act as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve escalated, complex service issues that require policy interpretation and experience-based judgment to resolve and troubleshoot claims and billing issues.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact clients.
- Assist client with the claims process as needed.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Experience:- Proven experience in a customer service or account management role.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.- Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools to manage client accounts.

Job Type: Permanent
Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
