Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist license for the state of Alabama
• Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
• Familiarity with IEPs, evaluations, and goal setting for students with diverse needs
• Ability to adapt interventions and approaches to meet individual and group needs

Expected Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Complete assessments and develop targeted interventions that promote independence and participation within the educational environment
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education teams, and families to ensure coordinated support
• Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress, and required reporting
• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as needed
