About the Role: We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Plant Supervisor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive leader who excels with Leadership on Their Feet, strong Safety Focus, and sharp Problem-Solving skills in a fast-paced recycling operation.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this key role drives plant operations, production, equipment reliability, staff development, and the safety program. If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and take ownership, this position is for you.

Responsibilities:

• Drive daily recycling plant operations and material processing schedules to maximize throughput.
• Own production goals, equipment uptime, and process improvements to exceed targets.
• Lead and develop 15 warehouse employees through two Floor Supervisors.
• Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and real-time problem-solving support daily.
• Proactively lead the facility’s safety program, including training, audits, and continuous improvement.
• Champion equipment maintenance and preventive programs to minimize downtime.
• Monitor and elevate productivity, quality, housekeeping, and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Quickly resolve operational challenges to maintain peak performance.
• Actively support hiring, training, and employee development.
• Step up and lead wherever needed for smooth operations.
• Serve as backup Scale Operator when the primary operator is unavailable.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• Supervisory or management experience in manufacturing, recycling, or a related industrial field.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with production processes, equipment maintenance, and industrial safety programs.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
