Medical Office Assistant - Part-time Details:

  • Temporary position
  • $16.00 / hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )
  • 2 days a week (days will vary)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Professionally answer incoming phone calls and manage inquiries.
  • Efficiently schedule and confirm patient appointments.
  • Oversee patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a welcoming and smooth experience.
  • Accurately verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility.
  • Process and collect patient payments with attention to detail.
  • Maintain and update confidential patient records in compliance with privacy standards.
  • Perform various basic office administrative tasks, including filing and data entry.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the chiropractor as needed.

Medical Office Assistant - Part-time Qualifications:

Required Skills & Attributes:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • A positive and proactive customer service mindset.
  • Ability to maintain a consistently clean, neat, and professional appearance.
  • Adherence to our business casual dress code (scrubs or neat office attire).
  • Closed-toe shoes are required for safety and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a medical office, chiropractic office, or general office administration is a plus.
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
