As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Albertville, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a food and beverage distribution setting, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment for employees and visitors. Your visible presence and routine patrols will support access control and contribute to a positive experience for everyone on site. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual situations encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required by site protocols.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and local authorities when necessary, following all site-specific and company protocols.
• Document all activities, incidents, and observations thoroughly and accurately as required by site policies.
• Support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and vendors by providing helpful directions and assistance when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
