Industrial Maintenance Technician – Surfside Laundry
Location: Foley, AL
Pay: $20–$30 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-time

Surfside Laundry is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at our commercial laundry facility in Foley, Alabama . This position is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who can keep industrial equipment running safely and efficiently.

The right candidate will have experience diagnosing and repairing equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment, with required knowledge of electrical systems, boiler operations, and mechanical troubleshooting . Welding experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial laundry equipment, mechanical systems, electrical components, boilers, pumps, motors, conveyors, and related facility equipment.

Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and keep production equipment operating efficiently.

Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and complete timely repairs.

Assist with boiler operation, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Perform equipment inspections and identify potential safety or maintenance concerns.

Repair or replace parts, components, wiring, belts, bearings, motors, valves, and other equipment as needed.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance work area.

Follow all company safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and equipment operating standards.

Assist with welding, fabrication, and facility repair projects as needed.

Requirements

Previous industrial maintenance experience required.

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills required.

Electrical experience required.

Boiler experience required.

Ability to read and understand manuals, diagrams, and basic equipment instructions.

Ability to work independently and respond quickly to equipment issues.

Must be dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working in a production environment.

Welding experience preferred.

Compensation

Pay ranges from $20–$30 per hour , based on experience.
