Job Specification: Project Manager Office Move
The Project Manager for the office move will be responsible for end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of Client office relocation, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and seamless integration of all technology systems. This individual will manage all vendor relationships-including IT infrastructure providers, furniture suppliers, movers, and facilities contractors-overseeing timelines, budgets, and service-level agreements. The role demands excellent project management discipline, communication skills, and stakeholder engagement to align cross-functional teams, manage dependencies, and deliver a fully operational office environment on schedule and within budget. This is a detail oriented and organized person who has moved a 50+ person office in the recent past



Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Project Management: Lead the full office move lifecycle-from planning through execution and post-move stabilization.
• Vendor Management: Select, negotiate, and manage vendors (movers, furniture, construction, IT services, etc.) with focus on performance and cost control.
• IT Coordination: With guidance from IT, coordinate the IT setup (networking, telecom, AV, printing, workstation deployment, and cutover planning).
• Budget & Timeline Oversight: Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring adherence to milestones.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks early and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project continuity.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as primary liaison among leadership, IT, facilities, HR, and business units to ensure alignment.
• Compliance & Security: Coordinate with IT and facilities to ensure physical and information security standards are met.
• Operational Readiness: Ensure the new office is fully functional-technology, facilities, and employee workspace-by move-in date.
• Resiliency and Resourcefulness: The move is on a short timeline so we need a person who can deal with challenging timelines, difficult scenarios, and wont crack under pressure
