Your New Role

• Assist licensed plumbers with diagnosing, repairing, and installing residential plumbing systems
• Learn to clear and clean residential drains
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and a well-organized work environment
• Ensure all work complies with state and local plumbing codes
• Educate customers on plumbing issues in a clear, professional manner
• Work collaboratively with the team to deliver outstanding service

Requirements

• Apprentice Plumber License (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Ability to drive and maintain a service truck
• Must pass a background check & drug test
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs, kneel, crawl, and work in confined spaces
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Tobacco-free workplace policy

Hi, I’m Kerry Adkins, the president of OnTime Service. Thank you for your interest in
our company. If I may, I’ll tell you a little more about OnTime Service and about how
we work to serve our customers.
My father, George Adkins, began the business in 1975. Eight years later, I joined him
as an apprentice electrician. For almost four decades, we focused primarily on
residential electrical service, repair and construction. In 2014, we began a heating
and cooling division. In November 2016, we started offering plumbing services to
our customers. We have worked in thousands of homes and hundreds of
commercial projects in Alabama.
