JENNMAR Services, is seeking a General Contractor Superintendent for a position in the Smyrna, GA area.

Job Responsibilities for General Contractor Superintendent:

• Accurately read and interpret construction blueprints, site plans, and specifications.
• Establish grades and elevations using appropriate tools and techniques; complete detailed daily reports.
• Supervise and coordinate multiple construction crews across various job sites, ensuring all work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• Plan and schedule project phases and crew assignments weeks to months in advance, anticipating challenges and adjusting resources as needed to maintain project momentum.
• Manage the delivery and staging of materials, tools, and equipment to ensure smooth site operations and avoid delays.
• Track and control project costs, monitor subcontractor performance, and support budget adherence through proactive oversight and resource management.
• Operate heavy machinery and equipment safely and effectively, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Work alongside the crew when necessary to meet project deadlines and maintain workflow.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with crew members, subcontractors, and supervisors to ensure alignment on project goals.
• Enforce job site safety rules and company policies.
• Monitor job progress, materials, and equipment to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by project managers or superintendents.

Position Requirements for General Contractor Superintendent:

• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in tunneling (hand mining or tunnel boring machine [TBM]) or jack & bore operations.
• Must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including drug screening and criminal background check.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
