Project Security Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional coordination to ensure project success in line with strategic goals.

• Act as the principal liaison for client interaction and operational alignment.

• Maintain situational awareness and offer proactive risk-based recommendations.

• Support the readiness and resilience of field operations through structured input.

• Oversee team performance and ensure alignment with internal procedures.

• Conduct regular oversight of critical operational assets and resources.

• Collaborate on procedural development and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Guide professional development efforts across operational teams.

• Monitor service delivery standards and drive operational excellence.

• Champion a culture of safety, accountability, and compliance.

• Facilitate stakeholder engagement as directed by project leadership.

• Participate in incident response coordination and operational continuity efforts.

• Deliver regular updates to senior management and regional management.

• Uphold company values and ensure alignment with internal compliance standards.

Requirements

Essential

• 8 years cumulative military/police service or equivalent commercial security and risk management experience.

• Attendance of an internationally regarded military Non-Commissioned Officer or organisational command and leadership course.

• 3 years previous experience of working in Iraq for a MOI registered PSC.

• Demonstrated competence over a minimum of 1 year in a previous PSC operations management role.

• Working knowledge of Oil and Gas sector.

• Fluent English – Written and spoken.

Preferred

• Security and Risk Management qualification.

• Fluent Arabic – Written and spoken.

• Experience working in complex multistakeholder projects.

• Demonstrable appreciation of multi layered security solutions, including engagement with local communities.
