REAL ESTATE CLOSING PARALEGAL (Residential Foreclosure Experience)
MONTGOMERY, AL

Summary: The Real Estate Closing Paralegal will support attorneys and clients in all aspects of residential real estate transactions, with a strong focus on foreclosure-related matters. This role involves preparing and reviewing closing documents, coordinating with lenders, title companies, and clients, and ensuring all transactions are completed accurately and on schedule.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a real estate paralegal, including residential foreclosure work.

• Proficient in real estate closing software and title management systems.

• Strong knowledge of title, escrow, and foreclosure processes.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and organize real estate closing and foreclosure documentation.

• Conduct title searches, review title commitments, and resolve title issues.

• Coordinate closing logistics with lenders, buyers, sellers, and attorneys.

• Draft deeds, settlement statements, affidavits, and other required documents.

• Manage case files and maintain accurate closing checklists and timelines.

• Assist in post-closing follow-up, including recording documents and disbursing funds.

• Support attorneys with foreclosure filings, pleadings, and related case management.

• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
