General Laborer – Steel/Metal Manufacturing

Location: Calera, AL
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: 7am-3:30pm M-F *O/T as needed*

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable employee to join our team. This position is designed to train the right candidate to become a Cut Thread Operator within our steel/metal manufacturing operation. We are looking for someone intelligent, trainable, and eager to grow within a hands-on industrial environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in manufacturing and learn a skilled trade.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily production and manufacturing operations
• Train on cut thread machinery and related equipment
• Measure, handle, and process steel/metal materials
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures
• Support team members and supervisors as needed

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Mechanically inclined with good problem-solving skills
• Previous experience working with steel or metals preferred
• Manufacturing or industrial experience a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required
