Job Title: Part-Time Administrative Assistant
Location: Huntsville, AL
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience using BambooHR and will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain employee records using BambooHR.
- Assist with the recruiting, onboarding/offboarding process for new hires, including preparing necessary documentation and conducting orientation sessions.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
- Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to the team, including filing, data entry, and organizing office activities.
- Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Support HR-related projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in using BambooHR for HR management tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a part-time or flexible work schedule.
- Familiarity with other HR software and tools.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced office environment.
Working Hours:
- Part-time position with flexible working hours. Specific schedule to be determined based on candidate availability and business needs.
