Regional CNC Machine Tool Installation & Maintenance Engineer

Are you the tech customers call first?

If you love solving complex mechatronic challenges and turning tough days into success stories, this role is for you. You’ll own the Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama markets—supported by nine fellow Southeast service teammates—and keep premium CNC machining and turning centers performing at their best.

Imagine your week

• Monday: Commission a new machining center in Chattanooga and coach operators on startup.
• Wednesday: Chase down a hydraulic issue in Atlanta—scope the circuit, replace a component, and tune the servo loop.
• Friday: Perform PMs in Birmingham, update documentation, and brief the customer on best practices to prevent downtime.

All with a company vehicle, phone, laptop, and fuel on us—plus processes that keep paperwork light so you can stay hands-on.

What you’ll own

• Field service delivery: service calls, installations, and preventive maintenance across your local territory.
• End-to-end case ownership, including accurate customer records and technical documentation.
• On-site issue resolution, light training, and collaboration with sales for technical support.
• Professional, ethical representation of Ellison Technologies in every interaction.
• Related tasks as the work demands.

What proves you’re ready

• Hands-on experience with CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers—install, maintenance, and repair.
• Strength in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in heavy equipment repair.

Tools of the trade

• Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) for diagnostics and integration
• Servo motors and related motion systems
