A dedicated and passionate Secondary Math Teacher is needed for a contract position in a vibrant school district near Tallassee, AL. This role offers the chance to make a direct impact on students’ academic success and personal growth in a supportive and collaborative educational environment.
You’ll have the opportunity to guide students through engaging and effective math instruction, help foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture, and integrate technology into your daily lessons to prepare learners for success in a quickly evolving world.
Qualifications:
- Current Alabama Teacher Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Valid Mathematics endorsement
- Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management abilities
- Skilled at creating motivating learning experiences for secondary-level students
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement math lessons that encourage student engagement and critical thinking
- Establish and maintain effective rapport with students, fostering their academic and personal development
- Inspire students to develop skills and confidence needed for ongoing success
- Seamlessly integrate technology into instruction
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and visitors
- Collaborate with fellow staff to support instructional goals and school-wide initiatives
- Take on additional tasks as assigned by school leadership
