Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide services in a K-12 school setting located in Union Springs, AL. The role is a full-time, onsite contract position for the school year, beginning August 5, 2025, through May 22, 2026, covering two school sites. Open to Candidates of Record (CF) or SLPA professionals with relevant licensure.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students from PreK through 12th grade
- Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to support student communication goals
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Alabama for SLP candidates; appropriate certification for SLPA candidates
- Experience in healthcare, pediatrics, or school settings preferred but not mandatory
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for effective collaboration
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team focused on student success
