Job Title: Outside Sales Representative – Roofing

THIS IS A COMMISSION ONLY POSITION

1st year OTE $120,000.00

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Roofing Sales Representative to join our roofing company. In this role, you will generate and cultivate new business opportunities, travel within your assigned territory to meet clients, and build long-term relationships with both residential and commercial customers. You will be responsible for promoting our roofing products and services, providing expert consultations, and helping customers find the best solutions for their roofing needs. You’ll report directly to the Regional Sales Manager and work closely with our installation and project management teams to ensure customer satisfaction from first contact to project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel within your territory to meet with homeowners, builders, property managers, and other potential clients.

• Conduct roof inspections and provide on-site consultations and estimates.

• We do provide in house leads, but primarily door knock - Mon-Fri it is mandatory to hit 30 doors a day.

• Educate clients on roofing systems, materials, and installation processes.

• Maintain deep knowledge of our products, warranties, financing options, and services.

• Use CRM software to track leads, follow-ups, and sales progress.

• Build strong, ongoing relationships with customers to drive repeat and referral business.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth hand-off and customer satisfaction post-sale.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in outside sales, ideally in roofing, construction, or building materials.

• Strong understanding of residential and/or commercial roofing systems is a plus.

• Familiarity with CRM platforms and strong organizational skills.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.

• A self-motivated, goal-oriented personality with a strong work ethic.

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout assigned territory.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience with storm restoration or insurance claims in the roofing sector.

• Ability to read and interpret roof plans or blueprints.

• Bilingual skills are a plus.

This is a commission only position .
