Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a School Psychologist specializing in telehealth services within an educational setting located in Trussville, AL. This role focuses on providing psychological assessments, counseling, and support to students through remote platforms, ensuring accessibility and timely interventions.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments remotely.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized learning plans.
- Delivering counseling and mental health support via telehealth technologies.
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as needed.
- Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with confidentiality and legal standards.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience with telehealth platforms and remote service delivery.
- Strong knowledge of child development, learning disabilities, and behavioral interventions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
- Ability to work independently while managing caseload and deadlines.
