Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a paraprofessional to provide on-site support in a school setting in Spanish Fort, AL. The role involves facilitating services for school psychologists as a liaison, supporting speech aides, teachers, or paraprofessionals within the educational environment. This opportunity runs from March 2026 through May 29, 2026, with an expected schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an on-site facilitator supporting school psychology services
- Collaborate with speech aides, teachers, and paraprofessionals to assist students
- Manage assigned caseloads (details to be provided)
- Maintain professional communication with school and district staff
- Support compliance with school policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- U.S. citizen, 18 years or older
- Local to the area and available for on-site work in Spanish Fort, AL
- Two professional references are required
- Background or bachelors degree in psychology preferred
- Experience as a paraprofessional, speech aide, or school teacher is desirable
- Ability to participate in pre-screening and internal interviews with the staffing team
