Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is looking for an Principal Engineer Systems/ Sr Principal Engineer Systems based out of Huntsville, Alabama for the IBCS Poland Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS). IBCS Poland Integrated Battle Command System is a revolutionary, network enabled command-and control system developed by Northrop Grumman that Poland has deployed to unify its air and missile defense sensors and shooters. IBCS Poland Integrated Battle Command System delivers a single integrated air picture with unprecedented accuracy and broadens surveillance and protection areas. Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Perform analysis at all levels of total system product life cycle to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
The ideal candidate(s) will have experience in systems engineering lifecycle of missile / weapon system development program(s), functional analysis and systems trade studies for technical solutions with respect to concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, and maintenance; Reviewing the SOW to generate and present data analysis using the results gathered to support internal and external stakeholder meetings. Principal Engineer Systems (ENG03): 5 Years with Bachelors in Science, 3 Years with Masters or 1 Years with PhD
Active Secret Clearance required to start
Proficient in Requirements and Model-Based Systems Engineering
Experience with Requirements Impact Assessments, Change Requests, and Engineering Change Proposals

Sr Principal Engineer Systems (ENG04): 8 Years with Bachelors in Science; 6 Years with Masters or 3 years PhD
Active Secret Clearance required to start
Proficient in Requirements and Model-Based Systems Engineering
Experience with Requirements Impact Assessments, Change Requests, and Engineering Change Proposals
