Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty License: Registered Nurse license required in State of Alabama or compact license Certifications: AHA ACLS AHA BLS AHA NIHSS American Red Cross Certifications Must-Have: Education - Required: Associate degree in nursing Experience - 1 year in specialty, or 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license Description: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Accepting 36 or 48 hours per week. Holidays as required by facility. Every other weekend required. The Medical Intensive Care Unit is a high acuity unit that provides complex monitoring and treatment of adult patients. Nurses must exhibit a high level of professional competency. The nurses work collaboratively with all disciplines of the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
