Immanuel Enterprises in Ozark, AL is looking for one infant/toddler teacher to join our 22 person strong team. We have three locations in Ozark, Alabama. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support early childhood development.
- Encourage language development through talking, reading, singing, and interactive play.
- Promote social-emotional development through nurturing and positive guidance.
- Support fine motor and gross motor skill development through hands-on activities.
- Maintain consistent classroom routines and schedules.
- Maintain active supervision of children at all times.
- Ensure classroom compliance with Alabama DHR minimum standards and center policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom environment.
- Follow all health, safety, diapering, handwashing, and sanitation procedures.
- Monitor children for signs of illness or injury and report concerns immediately
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CDA in Infant/Toddler, Associate Degree, or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Experience working with infants and toddlers preferred.
- Must meet Alabama DHR requirements for childcare staff.
- Must pass required background checks.
- CPR and First Aid Certification preferred or willing to obtain.
