About the Role:
The Cleaning Tech Part-Time position is essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both employees and visitors across various facilities. This role focuses on performing thorough cleaning and sanitization tasks to ensure high standards of hygiene and appearance are consistently met. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall operational efficiency by managing cleaning supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and adhering to safety protocols. This position requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team during assigned shifts. Ultimately, the role supports the organization's commitment to health, safety, and customer satisfaction through diligent cleaning practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work location within the United States.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a professional cleaning or janitorial role.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills to report issues and coordinate with team members.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal in assigned areas.
- Sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas following established health and safety guidelines.
- Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory is low or equipment requires maintenance.
- Follow all safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly to prevent accidents or damage.
- Report any facility issues such as leaks, broken fixtures, or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Skills:
The required skills enable the Cleaning Tech to efficiently execute daily cleaning duties while maintaining safety and quality standards. Physical stamina and attention to detail ensure thorough cleaning and upkeep of facilities. Preferred skills such as knowledge of safety regulations and chemical handling enhance the ability to work safely and responsibly. Time management and communication skills facilitate effective coordination with supervisors and team members, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
