Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a contract position in a K-12 school located in Clio, Alabama. This onsite role involves working primarily within a single school building, with the exception of one assignment at the high school level. The caseload consists of approximately 50 students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy sessions based on evaluated needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
- Participate in team meetings and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
Qualifications:
- Valid license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload of roughly 50 students across a K-12 range
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student needs in an educational environment
