Snelling is currently recruiting a dependable Facility Greeter for a company in the Birmingham area. The greeter serves as the first point of contact for visitors and employees entering the building. This position is responsible for creating a welcoming and professional environment while monitoring entry activity to ensure building safety and compliance with company policies. The Facility Greeter is not an armed security role but is expected to maintain awareness of surroundings and report any unusual activity promptly. The starting pay is $18.00/hr with a 1st shift schedule; Monday-Thursday-9-3:30 and Fridays-9:00-2:00

Key Responsibilities Facility Greeter:

• Greeting and assist all visitors, employees, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Monitor building entrances and exits to ensure only authorized individuals enter.
• Maintain a visitor log and issue visitor badges when required.
• Communicate effectively with on-site management and building security (if applicable).
• Provide directions and general information about the facility.
• Observe and report any safety or maintenance concerns.
• Ensure the lobby and entry areas remain clean, organized, and presentable.
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding building access and safety.

Qualifications Facility Greeter:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Ability to remain alert, attentive, and courteous always.
• Basic computer skills for logging visitors and managing communication.
• Prior customer service or front desk experience preferred.
