Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Talladega, AL is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to join their team for the upcoming school year. This full-time contract position will run from August 4, 2025, through May 22, 2026, offering up to 37.5 hours per week. The caseload will vary depending on the needs of the students.

Qualified candidates must hold current Alabama SLP licensure, which should be presented with the application. The work location will be assigned after the interview process and will take into consideration the candidates current location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services in a school setting
• Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and compliance with school policies
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Support students in developing effective communication skills to improve academic and social success

Desired Qualifications:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Valid Alabama SLP licensure
• Previous experience in school-based speech-language therapy preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
