As a **Security Officer - Mall Unarmed Bike Patrol** in **Birmingham, AL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the retail or mall location.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or suspicious behavior.
+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required by site guidelines.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
+ Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific actions.
+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Able to ride a bike.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
