Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Location: On-site at a hotel - pre-opening phase - Huntsville, AL
Schedule: Day shift

About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined General Laborer to assist with
assembling and installing furnishings for a newly constructed hotel preparing for its
grand opening. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, follows
instructions well, and takes pride in completing tasks accurately and efficiently. This is a
temporary assignment with the opportunity to convert to a full-time position based on
performance and business needs.
What Youll Be Doing
Assemble hotel furnishings including beds, desks, dressers, chairs, shelving, and
other fixtures
Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and correctly
Read and follow assembly instructions, diagrams, and layouts
Assist with moving, staging, and positioning furniture and materials
Inspect assembled items for quality, stability, and proper installation
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Work collaboratively with supervisors, contractors, and other team members
Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
Complete tasks within established timelines to support the hotel opening
schedule
Qualifications
Mechanically inclined with basic understanding of tools and assembly processes
Prior experience in general labor, furniture assembly, construction, maintenance,
or similar hands-on work preferred (not required)
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work on your feet for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Reliable, punctual, and dependable attendance
Positive attitude and willingness to take direction
