Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our artisan practice. You will provide chairside support to providers and patients with professionalism, warmth, and empathy. Key priorities include ensuring patient comfort, maintaining strict sterilization protocols, preparing treatment rooms, and helping the day run smoothly while upholding the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chairside during a variety of dental procedures with skill and empathy
• Prepare and maintain organized, sterilized treatment rooms
• Adhere to OSHA, CDC, and ADA infection control protocols
• Take digital scans and impressions; expose high-quality radiographs
• Accurately record treatment information in Dentrix Ascend
• Educate patients on procedures and reinforce treatment plans with clarity
• Perform basic lab procedures and assist with equipment maintenance
• Support administrative and reception tasks to ensure smooth operations
• Build lasting, trusting relationships with patients
• Promote patient knowledge and enthusiasm for at-home dental care

✅ Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; accredited Dental Assisting program preferred
• All state-required certifications, registrations, and/or licenses
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain before start date)
• Prior experience preferred; new graduates with strong work ethic welcome
• Proficiency with Dentrix Ascend strongly preferred
• Ability to pass a background check
