Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a K-12 educational setting in Birmingham, AL. This position is a contract role for the upcoming school year, offering the opportunity to support students across all grade levels in their communication development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP - School certification appropriate for educational settings
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
Location:
- Birmingham, Alabama
- K-12 school environment
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Provide consultation and training to school staff regarding speech and language interventions
