Assistant Healthcare Business Office Manager Location Birmingham, AL :

The Arlington HealthCare & Rehabilitation Center in Birmingham, AL is currently seeking an administrative team member with experience in a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will assist the Business Office Manager and the Administrator in successfully fulfilling the day-to-day Accounts Receivable and administrative office management function of the facility in accordance with Ball HealthCare's established policies and procedures, current federal, state and local standards relating to long-term care operations as directed by the Administrator. If you have a desire to serve the rehabilitation and healthcare needs in both the long-term and short-term care industry, this is the opportunity for you!

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 18-years of age, have a High School diploma or GED
  • Formall training and/or experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and office management
  • Must have Insurance billing background in dealing with Medicare and Medicaid
  • Must complete, review, verify and submit all required reports timely and accurately
  • Must have a willingness to learn and have a good working knowledge of general office practices
  • Must be honest, loyal, trustworthy and confidential
